Another kitchen got a refresh, and I am absolutely obsessed with how it turned out. It went from feeling a little dark and dated to bright, clean, and pulled together with just a few simple changes and decor updates. No full remodel, but demo days and patience. Then thoughtful pieces, organization, and lots of light.
I’m sharing before and after photos in this post so you can really see the difference. It’s amazing how much the space changed with updated countertops and paint. It was fun adding new decor and a few small styling choices. The whole kitchen now feels more open, airy, and welcoming.
The biggest changes I made was the countertops and painted cabinets.
-
added green accents for a fresh, natural feel
-
under-cabinet and counter-saving storage to clear clutter
-
swapped decor to add color and wood pieces
-
organized with functional Amazon finds I actually use every day
Those touches, plus decluttering, made everything look cleaner and so much more current.
Green decor for the win 🌿
You’ll notice in the after photos that I brought in green accents as well as wood throughout the space. Green glass, greenery stems, vases, candles — just little pops that make the kitchen feel alive without overwhelming it.
It’s cozy and clean.
Space-saving organization
I also added:
-
an under-cabinet wine glass holder
-
coffee mug storage
-
an under-cabinet paper towel holder
-
pantry lighting and organizers
These not only look pretty — they seriously free up counter space.
